voestalpine

Since 2010 | Austria

Since 2010, we have supported voestalpine as part of a comprehensive transformation program. Our contribution included the development of a detailed roadmap and the successful delivery of multiple implementation phases and go-lives, drawing on deep industry expertise and extensive solution knowledge.

Our work covered the entire value chain, with a focus on order management, technical feasibility assessment and technical order elaboration, production planning and production execution. The system integration was designed to provide a sustainable foundation for continuous improvement.

Novelis

2022 – 2024 | Germany, China

As part of the Novelis project, MS4PROCESS supported the design and implementation of integrated processes for technical order elaboration and production planning.

A key focus was the integration with MES, as well as the development and implementation of a Trim Cockpit with integrated coil cutting optimization. In addition, an Order Cockpit was implemented to support interactive planning decisions.

Furthermore, technical orders were modeled across systems and integrated into the planning and MES processes. This included the design of end-to-end processes and the modeling of detailed target processes.

Steeltec

2020 | Switzerland, Germany

The STEELTEC project focused on designing an integrated system landscape based on SAP S/4HANA and developing a roadmap for its implementation.

MS4PROCESS analyzed the existing business processes at the Düsseldorf and Lucerne sites, designed the target processes, and developed a comprehensive business blueprint.

Based on the target processes and the existing system landscape, we defined an approach for standardization and customer-specific requirements and developed a roadmap for the future implementation.

Dofasco

2020 | Canada

As part of a quality review, various business-critical processes or business blueprints for a complete SAP S/4HANA implementation with MES integration were evaluated, and a strategy paper with the recommended solution was handed over to project management.

The following business processes were analyzed using a fit-gap analysis:

• Production planning & integrated production execution
• System integration

Sabic - Hadeed

2010 – 2011 | Saudi Arabia

The project included the full-scope implementation of SAP ECC and SAP APO at SABIC Hadeed, covering business processes from sales and demand planning to production execution and integration with MES systems.

As part of a comprehensive SAP integration, the following areas were reviewed, and the organization of work preparation/production was coached:

• Setting up SAP master data such as product definition, bill of materials, and routing
• Planning of finished products (SOP)
• Production Planning and execution – Shop floor control (SFC)
• Integration of Level 3 systems (MES Integration)

2007 – 2008 | Germany, France

As part of a comprehensive integration, the following topics and processes were addressed and put into productive use:

Master Data Management:

• Design and specification of production master data
• Definition of decoupling points and production stages, and based on that, development of a migration concept for materials and inventories
• Design and implementation of master data distribution

Sales Logistics:

• Coordination of go-live and user acceptance tests for customer orders, deliveries, and invoicing
• Design and further development of the delivery monitor and interface with integration into a logistics system

Handan Iron & Steel Company

The following activities were carried out as part of the SAP implementation project:

• Review of the business blueprint with a focus on:
• Production planning
• Product and inventory management
• Decoupling points and production stages
• Creation of a production master data concept with configuration processes
• Design of a production stage concept for MTO and MTS scenarios
• Development of a high-level concept for production planning in SCM APO PP/DS

Design and implementation of an automated request processing system with a cross-plant technical feasibility analysis in the SAP master data system with integration to the SAP ERP system.

A complete project cycle was delivered – from the initial analysis through the business blueprint to Go-Live. The support of the entire value chain was redesigned and implemented very close to the SAP standard.

Based on a thorough initial analysis, the business blueprint was created. The focus included the development of a business rule framework to support order specification and feasibility analysis. A master data concept for configurable bill of materials, routing, and material master data was developed. The design of the system integration was created using a process automation framework.
